Family Mediation
Taking the first step can feel daunting. Here are honest answers to the questions people most often ask before reaching out.
Your first session is a relaxed, confidential conversation. Sue will listen to understand what's brought you here, answer any questions, and together you'll decide on a comfortable way forward. There's no pressure — just a safe space to begin.
Yes. All sessions are strictly confidential. The only exception is where there is a threat to the life of the client or to the life of others. Your safety and privacy are always a high priority.
Mediation is a consensual process where Sue, as an impartial mediator, helps disputing parties explore and, where possible, reach a mutually acceptable resolution. It's especially helpful when relationships are ongoing, communication has broken down, and parties wish to determine their own outcome while minimising legal costs.
No. The mediator has no decision-making authority and cannot impose an agreement. Sue creates a safe, supportive environment where you work through the issues and shape your own outcome.
